3.1: For Barfi:

  • 2 cups milk powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • A few drops of rose water
  • Chopped pistachios and almonds for garnish

3.2: For Gulab Jamun:

  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Oil for frying

3.3: Sugar Syrup for Gulab Jamun:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2-3 cardamom pods
  • A few drops of rose water

3.4: For Ladoo:

  • 2 cups gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • Chopped nuts for garnish

H; 4: Method:

1. Barfi:

  1. In a pan, heat ghee and add condensed milk, stirring constantly.
  2. Gradually add milk powder, stirring well to avoid lumps.
  3. Once the mixture starts thickening, add cardamom powder and rose water for fragrance.
  4. Spread the mixture on a greased tray and smooth the surface.
  5. Garnish with chopped pistachios and almonds.
  6. Let it cool and set for 1-2 hours before cutting into diamond-shaped pieces.

2. Gulab Jamun:

  1. Mix milk powder, flour, and baking soda in a bowl. Add ghee and mix until crumbly.
  2. Slowly add milk to form a soft dough.
  3. Shape the dough into small balls.
  4. Deep fry the balls on low heat until they turn golden brown.
  5. In a separate pan, boil sugar and water for the syrup, adding cardamom pods and rose water.
  6. Soak the fried Gulab Jamun in the warm sugar syrup for at least 30 minutes.

3. Ladoo:

  1. Roast gram flour (besan) in ghee on low heat until it turns golden and releases a nutty aroma.
  2. Add cardamom powder and continue stirring.
  3. Once the mixture cools slightly, add powdered sugar and mix well.
  4. Shape the mixture into small round ladoos, garnishing with chopped nuts.
