Kick off your day with a delightful twist! This Chicken Cheese Paratha features the zesty flavors of shredded chicken paired with the rich creaminess of cheese, all encased in a crispy, golden paratha. It's an ideal fusion of traditional and contemporary flavors!


Ingredients (اجزاء):

For Chicken Filling:

  • Boneless chicken (200 grams, boiled & shredded) - بون لیس چکن (ابلا ہوا اور ریشہ کیا ہوا)

  • Salt (½ tsp) - نمک

  • Black pepper (½ tsp) - کالی مرچ

  • Red chili flakes (1 tsp) - کٹی لال مرچ

  • Cumin powder (½ tsp) - زیرہ پاؤڈر

  • Ginger garlic paste (1 tsp) - ادرک لہسن کا پیسٹ

  • Oil (1 tbsp) - تیل

For Paratha:

  • Whole wheat flour (2 cups) - گندم کا آٹا

  • Salt (½ tsp) - نمک

  • Water (as required) - پانی

  • Butter or ghee (for frying) - مکھن یا گھی

Additional:

  • Mozzarella cheese (1 cup, grated) - موزریلا چیز (کش کیا ہوا)

Instructions (ترکیب):

Step 1: Make the Chicken Filling

  • Heat oil in a skillet and incorporate ginger garlic paste.
  • Introduce shredded chicken along with salt, pepper, chili flakes, and cumin powder.
  • Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the flavors meld together. Allow to cool.


Step 2: Make the Dough

  • In a bowl, combine flour and salt.
  • Slowly add water to form a soft dough.
  • Allow it to rest for 15 minutes.


Step 3: Prepare the Paratha

  • Flatten two medium-sized balls of dough.
  • On one flatbread, layer the chicken mixture and sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Place the second flatbread over it and seal the edges.
  • Cook on a tawa with ghee until both sides are golden brown.
