Ingredients:

For Dough:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour (maida)

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander (chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter or ghee (for brushing)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dough:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add yogurt and oil to the dry ingredients.
  3. Gradually add warm water while kneading until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 7-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise for 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
2. Prepare the Aloo Filling:
  1. In a mixing bowl, add the mashed potatoes.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
  3. Add chopped onions and green chilies, and sauté until golden brown.
  4. Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add the onion mixture to the mashed potatoes, along with fresh coriander and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly.
3. Assembling the Aloo Naan:
